Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RetainGuard, a Shopify app that analyzes your store's order history to surface recurring revenue, repeat-customer, and churn insights. By installing RetainGuard, you agree to these terms.
The service
RetainGuard reads order data from your Shopify store via webhooks and displays analytics inside an embedded dashboard in your Shopify admin. It does not modify orders, products, or checkout, and does not run anything on your storefront. It may add or remove the tags retainguard-at-risk, retainguard-likely-lost, and retainguard-discount-abuse on customer records in your store, and may create a customer segment when you request one from the Settings page, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscription and billing
RetainGuard is offered on a paid monthly subscription, billed through Shopify's standard billing system, with a free trial period for new installs. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app or downgrading the subscription from your Shopify admin; charges already billed for the current period are not refunded, in line with Shopify's billing terms.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data in your Shopify store and for how you act on the insights RetainGuard surfaces (for example, decisions made using at-risk or discount-abuse tags). RetainGuard's analytics are estimates based on order history and are provided to support your decisions, not as a guarantee of outcomes.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep RetainGuard available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features, pricing, and these terms may change over time; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Termination
You may stop using RetainGuard at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated or if required by Shopify's own policies. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after uninstall.
